It’s Throwback Thursday! In this photo, Families inspect the Mallinckrodt exhibit on nuclear power at the 1956 Mid America Jubilee. The Jubilee featured pavilions filled with exhibits such as farming, military jet planes and a children’s amusement center. Half a million people attended the exhibition, held on a 30-acre St. Louis site on the Mississippi River waterfront.
