Meet John Mulroy, Director, GPO/IDN Northeast
Collaboration is an important Mallinckrodt value, and one that John Mulroy, Director, GPO/IDN Northeast, carries throughout his work each day. From working with employees during sales trainings to exchanging ideas with colleagues at the National Sales Meeting, John’s passion and professionalism is admired by colleagues throughout MNK.
According to colleagues, John “embodies all things leading to the success of our mission … he is a team player and is always looking to provide solutions for his customers and peers.”
Most recently, John took on a new role within the MNK sales force, applying his passion to train and mentor new and existing sales personal. But adding Regional Sales Trainer to his resume hasn’t negatively impacted his ability to deliver on his daily responsibilities – instead, it has had a positive impact.
The new role has made him even more focused “on customers and finding solutions that are relevant to their needs and addressing the issues that they are fighting in real time,” said one colleague who believes this is a major part of his success. John, however, credits his team for his accomplishments.
“I am part of a team that cares about making a difference in patient lives while earning a living that we can be proud of,” said John, when asked about the most valuable thing he’s learned from working at MNK. “We all want to improve patient lives, which makes working together to align our goals and execute a strategy that much easier.”
