Mallinckrodt Employees Beautify New Jersey Highway through Adopt-A-Highway

In partnership with the New Jersey Department of Transportation and the New Jersey Clean Communities Council, Mallinckrodt has entered into a two-year agreement to clean the one-mile stretch of U.S. Route 206, which runs along and just beyond Mallinckrodt’s Bedminster site. This past April, employees at the company’s Specialty Brands site took time to remove waste along the highway – the first of planned quarterly cleanings.

This definitely speaks to our integrity and collaboration as a company,” said Leanne Rea, Administrative Coordinator in Regulatory Affairs who coordinates the Adopt-a-Highway effort. “Mallinckrodt is committed to being a good corporate neighbor by allowing their employees the time to devote to programs such as this and providing the resources and leadership to accomplish the task. Moreover, when we are participating in this program, we are a committed and focused team.”
